Galls? - Hyalophora cecropia

Galls? - Hyalophora cecropia
Block Island, Washington County, Rhode Island, USA
June 27, 2016
East of Black Rock Point near coast.

Moved

Eggs
The plant looks like winged sumac (Rhus copallinum).
How big are these? They look like cecropia eggs.

Sizable
A few mm I think. I'm going to go back to collect them as I'm pretty sure I'll be able to find the plant again. I've never seen the caterpillars before.
