Gazoryctra sciophanes

Gazoryctra sciophanes
Mount Mitchell State Park, Yancey County, North Carolina, USA
June 28, 2016
This ghost moth came into a light setup during the Mount Mitchell State Park bioblitz. The only Gazoryctra known from NC is G. sciophanes, and this individual does match pinned specimens from MPG. Hopefully someone can create a species page for it here.

Moved - great find!
Moved from Gazoryctra. I'm going to have to make a trek to the mountains this summer to try and find this beauty myself.
