Looks like Cafius luteipennis, the bright buff elytra are supposed to be distinctive for Pacific coast Cafius.

 
I would concur..
Some of these are posted from Vancouver, BC and it almost seems as though there is nothing close to it in that genus. I'm moving this one to Calfius luteipennis tentatively, in hopes that experts find no objection and will correct if wrong. Thank you for your help Alice.
