possible tripeolus - Triepeolus lunatus - male

possible tripeolus - Triepeolus lunatus - Male
Warsaw, Hancock County, Illinois, USA
June 29, 2016
If my ID is correct this is the first Tripeolus sp. I've had in the yard this year. I believe it's the same species I had last year - though I have no species ID, only genus. There were two sleeping next to a couple of Melissodes.

Moved from ID Request.

yes, likely a lunatus male
were the Melissodes black?, i.e. bimaculatus

yes, the other male Melissode
yes, the other male Melissodes was black with pale legs. Looks like it may have been an all male sleeping party. That was my original thought.
