Corydalidae sp.? - Chauliodes pectinicornis

Corydalidae sp.? - Chauliodes pectinicornis
Lincoln, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, USA
June 29, 2016
Size: approx. 2.5" or 70mm
Attributes suggest fishfly or dobsonfly species - leaning toward the former. Feathery antennae, membranous wings, twisted. Aquatic origin? Searched the existing photo database, but did not find a compelling match, especially in regard to the wing characteristics. Attracted to an observation sheet bathed in UV.

Looks like Chauliodes pectinicornis
The wings are malformed, I guess.

definitely, C. pectinicornis
Wings look fine to me, actually looks like he/she was just taking off. I've photographed them right on takeoff before and their wings look just like this.

C. pectinicornis in flight
Thank you for your comments and insight. I concur that this is simply the species stated, commonly known as summer fishfly, caught by my camera freeze frame in take off, showing wing flexion.

I wondered about that
They do look like wings in flight and I considered adding that to my comment but figured the submitter would've remembered that. Now I'm thinking that must be it.
