Shield Bug - Homaemus aeneifrons
Twin Valley, Norman County, Minnesota, USA

Size: About 5 to 8 mm
Not sure what this is, leaning toward Scutellidae: Eurygaster but it lacks the scalloping on the outer abdomen I see in the guide. Is the scalloping variable? Found on milkweed.
