Philanthus crabroniformis - male

Philanthus crabroniformis - Male
Saanichton, Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada
June 30, 2016
This looks remarkably similar to Philanthus crabroniformis, but I would love confirmation. This individual was found on an agricultural wetland flat and appeared to be territorial to one particular spot. Based on reading about sexual dimorphism in this species on a photo Rick and Libby Avis took, it would appear this is a male.

Moved tentatively
Moved from ID Request.

It's virtually identical to the others in the Guide. Nevertheless, expert confirmation would be appreciated.
