Eastern Hercules Beetle - Dynastes tityus - female

Eastern Hercules Beetle - Dynastes tityus - Female
Norris City, White County, Illinois, USA
July 7, 2007
Size: 1 11/16 in. long
Sadly, I found the beetle in this position, dead under a street lamp during the day. I brought it in to my studio and photographed it. One antennae was missing, as was half of the rear right leg. The other half of the left rear leg fell off while I was shooting it. Can anyone identify this beetle? I don't know if it has changed colors in death.

Thanks!
No horn indicates a female specimen? Oh, I see that it does. Thanks for the fast ID!
