Artematopodidae: "Eurypogon niger"
This has to be Macropogon piceus LeConte. In Eurypogon spp., antennomeres 2-3 are short. In Macropogon spp. (above), antennomeres 2-3 are very short. The only species of Macropogon in the eastern states is M. piceus.

Jim,
I think these need to move to Macropogon. As Dan pointed out Eurypogon only has 2 and 3 small, whereas this picture shows 2,3 and 4 are all small. I don't know what is going on with M. rufipes vs piceus? D&A only mention rufipes.
