Does this look like a wood cockroach? - Parcoblatta lata - Male
Rocky Face, Whitfield County, Georgia, USA
July 4, 2016
I live in Georgia. Since May, I have found 2 roaches like this in my bathoom, 2 in my bedroom, and one even flew into my car one night while I had the light on and was hanging out right beside the light. While cleaning today, I found 2 of them dead underneath my refrigerator. Sorry the picture doesn't look too great, I'm not sure how long they have been dead. What kind of roach does it look like? I was thinking maybe wood roach or brown banded roach.

Moved

Parcoblatta sp.
From the looks of it, it appears to be P. lata

Parcoblatta sp male I'm pretty sure...
These guys live and breed outdoors, they do not infest houses and actually die rather quickly if they find their way indoors.
Probably can't get it down to species with this picture, but we'll see what Alan has to say.

Thank you a million times ove
Thank you a million times over. You have no idea how relieved I feel about them not being able to infest homes. I suffer from OCD, and my anxiety has been through the roof. Thank yall for identifying him for me.

No problem...
Happy to help! :)

these do look like wood roaches to me
One of the roach people will know for certain

Moved from ID Request.

Thanks. I know the picture do
Thanks. I know the picture doesn't look too great. I accidentally messed up its wings when I swept it up. I'm hoping someone can tell me what kind it is so I know if I have a problem on my hands.
