Round "Darkling" Beetle - Eusattus reticulatus
John Martin Reservoir SWA, Bent County, Colorado, USA
July 4, 2016
Area of sandy soil, fairly lush but also somewhat sparse vegetation, with many forbs as well as grass. Scattered stones and larger rocks. Was scuttling along like a darkling beetle, but structure seems wrong

Round Round

Moved tentatively, E.reticulatus is a safe bet....
Moved from Eusattus.

Moved, Eusattus (reticulatus?)
Moved from ID Request.

Thanks much! Any reason to think other than reticulatus? Appreciated you help on this and other IDs
