Asilid - Efferia aestuans - Female
Pleasant Valley Conservancy SNA, Dane County, Wisconsin, USA
July 4, 2016
She landed on a wooden bench in savanna/grassland. She leaned to one side presumably to warm up. Overcast day.

Efferia aestuans (Linnaeus 1763)?

Moved from Efferia.

WI only has the three confirmed Efferia, all separable by photos, this is also aestuans in her female sword-tipped fineness.
