Pentagonica bicolor (LeConte, 1863)
= New AL state record. Previously known from TX – Guatemala, Mexico. This great find is added to newly recorded GA at our post-2012 caraboid registry. Note the diagnostic combination of rufous forebody, uniformly dark antennae, and the shallow elytral striae. I'll gladly accept specimens of this species for my North American synoptic set.
