Photuris frontalis COMPLEX - Photuris frontalis - Female
River Road, Guadalupe River, Comal County, Texas, USA
June 6, 2016
Det. Ben Pfeiffer, 2016

Ben’s notes: Note lack of any visible elytral vittae (lateral line in the middle of wing covers). Defensive stance observed when handled, they tuck antennae underneath legs, and curl pronotum down. 2-3 rapid flashes together, occurring 1 second apart. Weak to moderate flash strength. Slow mover early in evening.
