Size: 9.5 mm
I think this ID is correct. Found indoors, crawling on the ceiling. Kind of a weird occurrence as there was no drying firewood inside. Thus, I can't really say anything about its biology.

ID is correct
Darker forms are apparently common at higher latitudes. Wolcott 1909: 95 and Wolcott 1921: 278 talk about this variation within the species.
