A sphinx kalmiae or something else? - Sphinx drupiferarum

Size: 63 mm
New to this site and only average at ID. Thought this was a laurel sphinx but the markings dont match....? Is there great variation in sphinx kalmiae? Found under lights at 1700' elevation in very northcentral pa. Big - 63mm with folded wings. Thanks for your help.

looks more like Sphinx drupiferarum to me
but wait for a moth expert

I believe you are correct! New one for me. I did not see it in MPG. I see this was moved, sorry, where should i place my next moth photo ID?
