Pretty sure this is Anomalon ejuacidum, but there are so few in the guide, it is hard to say. Interesting to note the wings were held vertical, not laying flat. Thoughts?

Yes, I have some thoughts on this. There are at least nineteen NA species, of which only three are widespread, including the two that are presently in the guide (only three or four species likely in your area). After checking, it appears that the characteristics seem to match up only for A. ejuncidum, as you suspected. Looks okay to me.
