Potentially an Apple Curculio - Anthonomus quadrigibbus

Potentially an Apple Curculio - Anthonomus quadrigibbus
Saskatoon City Centre, Central Saskatchewan, Saskatchewan, Canada
July 16, 2016
Found many of these snout beetles in Saskatoon Berries (Amelanchier alnifolia) we were sorting and packaging at the Saskatoon Farmer's Market. The berries were wild and growing on a family farm about 20 minutes North East of Saskatoon SK bordering the S.Saskatchewan River.
