What in the world is this? - Neocurtilla hexadactyla
Oklahoma City, Cleveland County, Oklahoma, USA
July 10, 2007
Size: 2 inches long
I found this thing outside my garage today and have absolutely no idea what it is. I've never seen anything like this in my 37 years of living in Oklahoma.

Moved from Mole Crickets.

Immature mole cricket.
They are not often seen since they are mostly subterranean! This one lacks wings, indicating it is a nymph. Please see existing images in the guide pages.
