I can see how this looks like
I can see how this looks like a Beaded Lacewing but the color is so different. Does color / markings vary with this species? I'm finding no information on the internet.

 
The info page
lists twelve North American species in one genus; some of these species have a distinctive indentation in their wings, as seen in your specimen. The family is rather poorly-known, however.
