Acmaeodera

Acmaeodera
Bradshaw Ranger District, Prescott National Forest, Yavapai County, Arizona, USA
June 5, 2013
I couldn't find a good match in BugGuide's Acmaeodera collection.

This is the only picture I have.

Identity
Although I have not seen one with this type of elytral maculation, I have seen and collected a fair number of specimens in Yavapai Co. that resemble it, and which we have been calling Acmaeodera angelica. However, this specimen is shaped more like A. nexa, which species is unknown from Arizona. I believe all that can be done is to call it "Acmaeodera sp. cf. angelica."

Thank You, Richard
I'll try to be on the alert for more like this.

Acmaeodera sp.
