P. dominula with... parasites? - Xenos

P. dominula with... parasites? - Xenos
Saint Paul, Ramsey County, Minnesota, USA
July 22, 2016
I noticed the odd shape of this wasp's abdomen, blew up the pics and found these.

Known host relations
Interestingly, the only known stylopid for P. dominula is Xenos vesparum, which hasn't been reported from the US as of yet. Either the parasite was also introduced, or one of our native species has begun to target the non-native P. dominula. Quite fascinating.

Strepsiptera
Xenos, perhaps?
