Scopula benitaria - Scopula compensata

Scopula benitaria - Scopula compensata
Brazos Bend St. Park, Fort Bend County, Texas, USA
July 21, 2016
Found at light. Looks most like the image by M. Quinn here.

Moved from Scopula.

Scopula compensata?
Note double tooth of pm line near costa. Hind wing shape seems wrong for benitaria which should be more rounded.

Great tip. Will put it where I can refer to it. I should have noticed that.

Moved from Geometrid Moths.

Looks like it to me, but I have not gotten one that I thought was S. benetaria identified.

Moved from ID Request.
