Desertshrub spiders - Diguetia canities - male - female

Desertshrub spiders - Diguetia canities - Male Female
Independence Creek Preserve, Terrell County, Texas, USA
June 4, 2016
This pair of Diguetia were hanging out in a web suspended between two prickly pear pads.

The female didn't seem to mind the male's presence so I guess she was feeling in the mood, ha ha. The male had either already did his business or was preparing to do so.

This was a spider I hadn't encountered before and thus hoped to find at the preserve. It was pretty common and I was not disappointed. The color pattern on this species is quite attractive.
