Exochomus californicus ? - Brumus quadripustulatus

Exochomus californicus ? - Brumus quadripustulatus
Richmond, British Columbia, Canada
July 24, 2016
Size: about 3.5mm
First time seeing this tiny lady beetle.
It was on my backyard pear tree, I took 5 frames before it flew away.
This is the best of the lot.

Moved, thinking Brumus quadripustulatus
Moved from ID Request.

Yes, looks right
B. 4-pustulatus is reasonably common in BC. In Exochomus californicus the front markings are less tapered, and the apical markings are positioned much further back.
