Nymph Specimen 1 - Alydus eurinus

Nymph Specimen 1 - Alydus eurinus
Thornhill, Ontario, Canada
July 11, 2007
On July 8th, I found an ant mimic true bug nymph:

I believed this to be the nymph of the same species as an adult I found nearby:

Can anyone verify my suspicion that these are, in fact, the nymphs of Alydus eurinus?

Today, I return to this area seeking the evidence that they are the same species and I believe I have been successful. This is a series of images of several specimens I found in one spot all on the same host plant species (Vicia cracca). All of the specimens in this series were found in the exact same location as the nymph I photographed 3 days earlier (within 2 meters).

Thank you
Thank you both very much for your help. I will now move this series to the Alydus eurinus guide page

Great series
These are indeed A. eurinus.

watertight observations
I say! I cannot positively identify the Alydus as eurinus, but sure the nymphs will belong to the adult.
