Alate Ant #4 - Pseudomyrmex pallidus

Alate Ant #4 - Pseudomyrmex pallidus
Montrose, Laurens County, Georgia, USA
July 2, 2016
Size: unrecorded
This species was not overwhelmingly numerous but they hung around quite a while. They seem to enjoy hanging out with humans as I found at one point 12 of them over various parts of my body whilst photographing them. And they were seemingly reluctant to shoo off. Of course, I found a couple after going back in the house and they were a bear to catch and release outside where they belonged.
