Lampetis drummondi? - Lampetis drummondi

Lampetis drummondi? - Lampetis drummondi
Saragosa, Reeves County, Texas, USA
July 25, 2016
Size: 28 mm
Collected at Reeves County, Saragosa, Texas 79780. Elevation: 2,930 ft. Coordinates: 31°01'57.4"N 103°37'02.0"W. The farm manager who sent me this specimen said that there was a "colony" of these beetles feeding on a young pecan tree. I suspect it was a mating aggregation site.
