We only have an orange one so far on BugGuide. Don't know how variable they can be or if we are completely wrong!

Thank you, Balabans!!! I really appreciate it. The fact that R. Pilla's bugs were also in Miami and also has blue knees makes makes this seem like a good fit to me. I love the shield-backed bugs, they hold still so nicely.
