Wolf Spider? - Dolomedes scriptus

Wolf Spider? - Dolomedes scriptus
Thornton, Grafton County, New Hampshire, USA
August 12, 2007
I believe this is a wolf spider, but cannot tell for certain.

Moved
Moved from Dolomedes tenebrosus
D. scriptus has a more complete median carapace stripe and light coloration between eye rows.

Moved
Moved from ID Request. These large spiders are often mistaken for wolf spiders. Note the limited white edging those "W" patterns on the abdomen.
