This bug was eating another bug - Efferia - Female

Size: Horsefly size
I have never seen this insect before it was eating another bug when I took this picture. It has a flat abdomen and large eyes.

Robber fly
Family Asilidae, subfamily Asilinae. They are predators.

The meal is probably Lucilia.
