Herpetogramma aeglealis

Herpetogramma aeglealis
Big Lake, Sherburne County, Minnesota, USA
July 7, 2007
This one looks familier, but I can't place it.

Moved from Moths.

Serpentine Webworm Moth
Herpetogramma aeglealis, # 5280.

A couple of characteristics to distinguish this species are:
Two dark spots in median area of forewing (outer spot larger) with pale patch in between them. And the fringe along the distal edge of forewing has a section of contrastingly light colored scales at the bottom, just before the beginning of the inner margin.

Nice photo.
