B&W fuzzy faced backyard bee - Megachile xylocopoides - Male
Newport News, Newport News County, Virginia, USA
July 29, 2016
Size: about 20 mm
Black bee with fuzzy face, fairly long antennae, fuzzy 1st pr of legs, 1 fuzzy band on thorax 1 fuzzy band on abdomen. Dark wings. Not iridescent but parts are shiny. Size is estimated.

I suggest that you re-crop the images much closer to the bug.
