Looks like maybe eggs were laid in the hive by these wasps. Look for what type of wasps they are.

Antennal Tips
I think P. dorsalis might should be ruled out as it shouldn't have such contrasting orange antennal tips. Might this be P. bahamensis instead given the dark coxae?
