Eumorpha pandorus? - Eumorpha pandorus
Media / Hildacy Farm Preserve, Delaware County, Pennsylvania, USA
July 30, 2016
Size: ~8 cm ?
From matching photographs, I think this is Eumorpha pandorus. Eumorpha intermedia isn't supposed to be in Pennsylvania, so I guess I can rule that out ... but with global warming it would be expected to march north at some point, so I am nervous about ID. There were 3 kinds of light illuminating the sheet, so colors might be off (also used flash, which doesn't help). Thanks for any help with ID.
