Potter Wasp Pot - Eumenes

Potter Wasp Pot - Eumenes
Duluth, Gwinnett County, Georgia, USA
September 3, 2004
I found this pot while wandering around in a wooded area. I snipped the branch off and took it home to see what would emerge and how long it would take.

Moved
Moved from Eumenes.

Moved from Lycogaster pullata.

Confusing
The wasp that emerged was a parasite, Trigonalidae, but the pot itself was made by a potter wasp (Eumeninae), so it should be in its proper place, not under Trigonalidae.
