Moved from ID Request. Thanks. I thought it was a Gelis at first when I caught it, but as soon as it jumped during the photoshoot I figured as much :)

Gelis, being an ichneumon, will always have longer antennae than any eupelmid.

Good to know. I can now generally recognize a few families but I'm mostly clueless past "Parasitica". It's really the only common group of insects I can't usually ID with any confidence to family, though I've been getting better at gestalt recognition this summer.
