Drasteria nichollae
Drasteria nichollae (Hodges' List # 8624). It differs from Drasteria sabulosa mainly by subterminal line, which is obvious only near the costal margin and except that is very obscured or completely absent in D. nichollae, and is in well defined through its entire length in D. sabulosa. D. sabulosa has also more eastern distribution: Wyoming, Utah, Colorado, New Mexico. It is replaced by D. nichollae in British Columbia, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Oregon and northern California. However it is possible that D. nichollae is just a western subspecies of D. sabulosa.
