What Species Of Wasps? - Polistes dominula

What Species Of Wasps? - Polistes dominula
Olcott, Niagara County, New York, USA
August 11, 2013
Size: Approx 1"
These are common at my hummingbird feeders in August every year. By their size and markings, they appear to be different species, unless they are life cycle stages of the same species.

Your considerations would be most appreciated.

Regards,

Jonathan
