Pyrausta signatalis at lights - Pyrausta signatalis

Pyrausta signatalis at lights - Pyrausta signatalis
6 miles NW Lyons, Boulder County, Colorado, USA
June 11, 2016
Size: Costal FW ~9.5 mm
THis looks like the classic P. signatalis. Seem in the CO foothills at about 6400' elevation at lights. Several of these moths were seen over the next three weeks or so at lights. No surprise, since its host plant, Monarda fistulosa, is plentiful here. However, I am going to post a Pyrausta that differs from this moth. We saw it one day before this moth and not since.
