Help with Possible Pond or Common Clubtail (Arigomphus or Gomphus) - Phanogomphus exilis - male

Help with Possible Pond or Common Clubtail (Arigomphus or Gomphus) - Phanogomphus exilis - Male
eastern edge of Michigan City, IN just south of Michigan border, LaPorte County, Indiana, USA
June 19, 2016
Size: 1 1/2- 2 inches
Saw this beauty in my son's pond. At first I thought this may be a Unicorn Clubtail but it is showing a lot of yellow on S9 and has tan tibia. Eyes were really blue. My part of Indiana only has two common options for Arigomphus, Lilypad and Unicorn. Curry's book says Lilypad is rare. Unless it isn't Arigomphus at all but rather is Gomphus, perhaps Ashy Clubtail (which has tan tibia). If anyone can help me finalize an ID, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you in advance for any help or direction you can give me. Still learning...

how about
Gomphus exilis

Thank you!
I think I am spending too much time believing the county accounts in Curry's book for Indiana. I like your suggestion and will be much more open minded in the future. Thank you for your response.
