Auplopus architectus-color variation - Auplopus architectus - Female
Cincinnati, Clifton, Hamilton County, Ohio, USA
August 23, 1989
Size: 10 mm
The color of A. architectus ranges from green-blue to purple-blue. They are extremely variable in sculpture, pubescence, and color...one of the things that make them very difficult to ID, even in the hand. Despite this, they are very beautiful.
