Sawfly and its Fly - Vibrissina

Sawfly and its Fly - Vibrissina
Marlton, Burlington County, New Jersey, USA
August 11, 2016
Size: Maybe around 8 mm?
The "sawfly"
I had something similar before and I thought it might be Compsilura concinnata. Is this new one Compsilura concinnata, or the same as my other one, or neither?

Not sure
Compsilura concinnata has bristles on the facial ridge, unlike your fly.

I'm having trouble matching this with other Blondeliini. It's not obvious whether the eye is hairy.

Specimen
I still have the specimen. Is there something I should shoot?

Head
Eye hairs are more visible against a dark background.
Head in exact lateral view may be helpful.
