Not sexual - is what I have guessed.
No, I did not propose this might be K. flavomarginata - presence ot a pronotal spot in the latter IS a difference.
Variation in this group of Flea beetles can be extreme, but seems mainly to affect elytral colour, and pattern. See a Mexican species,

not dimorphism
just aberration. Such a variety not mentioned in Blake (1927) revision, but both sexes seen by the author.
Occasional widening of bands mentioned, not more.
Would key to
K. flavocyanea
, if lack of a pronotal spot not considered.

I found that
it was no SEXUAL dimorphism because I saw males and females of both colors. The dark form is not rare, even if Blake missed it. Are you saying they (both) are K flavocyanea instead of tenuilineata?
