How does one tell these apart
How does one tell these apart from A. freemani? Jim Petranka raised the question after I'd submitted photos of mines I'd found in Durham, Wake, and Scotland counties. Is it out of their range, or should I be rearing them to figure it out?

My backlit photos of this mine...
clearly show a contorted initial linear portion that starts along the leaf midrib, whereas A. freemani would start at the leaf margin and not have any linear portion. I have seen no evidence of A. freemani in the Southeast so far, but it's worth looking.

Thank you! I haven't encount
Thank you! I haven't encountered A. freemani before, so it helps to know more... I will keep a lookout for it.
