Euodynerus mimic? - Leucospis affinis

Size: 9-10mm
An incredible Dipteran mimic; I am wondering if this is a parasite of potter wasps as he was hovering around our bee house where some Eumeninae wasps have made nests?

Leucospis affinis (female)…
These wasps are parasitic primarily on Megachilid bees (potter wasps are sometimes targeted).
