Halloween or Calico? - Celithemis eponina

Halloween or Calico? - Celithemis eponina
Lorain County, Ohio, USA
July 15, 2007
Need some help with i.d. Is this image of a calico pennant or a halloween pennant, or niether? Thanx--I am new to all this!

Halloween
It's a mature male Halloween Pennant (Celithemis eponina). Calico Pennants have a distinctly different wing pattern and coloration.
