Tibicen
Probably Tibicen auletes. This species tends to have a lot of wax, giving it a pruinose look. For a definite identification you would need fairly accurate measurements.

Thanks, Andy. I thought about measuring too late. Once I had the ruler in hand, it was gone. Murphy, you know.

Definately T. auletes
The high pruinosity and brown color is a dead give-away for southern T. auletes. No other species in America has so much pruinosity. Great pictures of the posterior abdomen. This specimen is a female.

Thanks. She was really nice to pose for me as long as she did.
