July 19, 2016: collected lep stem swellings on Prairie Sage, Artemisia ludoviciana, and inadvertently collected fuzzy leaf galls
August 14, 2016: a live gall fly
August 16, 2016: a live gall fly
August 17, 2016: sorted through the rearing container, removing the leaves with galls. One leaf had a cluster of 3 galls, 2 of which had what looked to be emergent holes (no spent pupal case). Cut open the 3rd gall to a live gall fly pupa
