Arorathrips? - Arorathrips

Arorathrips? - Arorathrips
Houston, Harris County, Texas, USA
August 21, 2016
Size: 1 mm
The antennae seem very distinctive, as do the forelegs and the pronotum shape.

Possibly the same species as this specimen posted 10 years ago and not yet ID'd:

See info on Arorathrips mexicanus at:
http://keys.lucidcentral.org/keys/v3/thrips_of_california/identify-thrips/key/california-thysanoptera-2012/Media/Html/browse_species/Arorathrips_mexicanus.htm.

Arorathrips would be a new genus for BG.
